My mother would have balked at Haught’s God (she was staunch French Catholic, after all), but I am all for the Yes Yes Yes after all those years of No No No. Also, I love the rambling, conversational, slip-in-an-aside-here-and-there tone of the poem. I’ll have to try stream of consciousness writing now. (And yes, the hanging of fleeces to catch gold deposits was a practice that may have influenced the Jason myth.)
