What a terrific post! I completely agree with these words. One thing I have learned in life is that we all need to learn to listen a bit more. So many people can “hear”, so few people have learned the skill of “listening”. These are two qualities that are very different.
Wouldn’t it be a wonderful country if all our elected leaders and and in general, “we the people” would “work at listening”? A lofty goal. Hopefully some day we may be closer to this goal!
