The problem was (and continues to be) that I can’t afford the initial investment in simplicity and elegance that is the real value. It’s true BTW in furniture and many other things as well as in clothes —
Take a look at Apple products, come to think of it! Where I have an Apple computer even though it’s more expensive, because it’s worth it in performance AND is gorgeous.
